I have 12 years of experience as Purchasing Officer in contracting companies. I coordinate with user departments to identify needs that can be combined with other users to take advantage of that leverage to negotiate the best purchasing package with suppliers and vendors.

My strong negotiating skills along with oversight of the bidding process have resulted in favorable vendor contracts for the company. In addition to the necessary administrative duties that are part of the job I also conduct regular competitor surveys to ensure we’ve getting the biggest bang for our buck. I understand the importance of team building and clear communication with staff and with user departments. Key to my success has been relationship building with vendors to ensure on-time delivery and resolution of delivery problems like damaged or incorrect goods.
