The role involves leading the implementation and maintenance of SHE Integrated Management Systems across ports, conducting and coordinating internal and external legal compliance audits, and advising on SHE legislation and risk mitigation. It includes strategic support to TNPA and port-level SHE managers, reviewing audit reports, ensuring the close-out of findings, and driving continuous improvement through awareness, training, and stakeholder engagement. The position also supports health, safety, and security (HSS) alignment in capital projects by ensuring compliance throughout the project lifecycle, overseeing contractor audits, and managing incident investigations. Additionally, the role requires managing a multidisciplinary team, driving staff development through training and mentorship, ensuring HR compliance, and providing regular performance reporting to key stakeholders to support SHE and HSS objectives.
