Responsibilities:

1. Manage and supervise the day-to-day operations of the accounting department.
2. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial statements and reports.
3. Oversee the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
4. Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
5. Coordinate and lead the annual audit process.
6. Manage and mentor a team of junior accountants.
7. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial guidance and support.
8. Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations.
9. Stay current with accounting regulations and ensure compliance.
10. Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2. CPA or ACCA certification is highly desirable.
3. Proven experience as a Senior Accountant or in a similar role.
4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
5. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Effective communication and leadership abilities.
8. Detail-oriented and highly organized.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Prior experience in the UAE or the Gulf region is a plus.
